Is Abortion Okay for Rape and Incest? Prolife Radio and Guests Respond

Pro-Life Radio is a pre-recorded program paid for by Pro-Life Radio. Preserving the sanctity of life in Florida. A loud voice for the unborn. This is Pro-Life Radio with your hosts, Vicky and Bruce Cherry. And welcome to another edition of Pro-Life Radio on a Sunday night. I am Bruce Cherry. Across from me, my lovely, adorable, forgiving wife, Vicky Cherry. Oh, what did you do? I didn’t do anything. I’m just storing up points for later. And we have some great guests with us this week who’ve been in the trenches with us numerous times, especially this past weekend as we were out sign-waving. and praying, and we had some really good praise the Lord moments at the abortion mill, or the abortuary, as they call it. Pro-choice. Yeah, in Altamont Springs on Maitland Avenue.

So we’ll get to that. But, of course, as always, we start everything off with Jeremiah 1-5 and prayer. Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born. I set you apart. I pointed you as a prophet to the nations. Dear, gracious Heavenly Father, we come before you once again and ask for your blessing upon this show, upon our guests, and upon all who hear this show. God, we know the sanctity of life. Give us the words to share with others to make sure they understand just how precious and special. Life is. Life that you have ordained to live. We, as mere mortals, have no right to disqualify that life, regardless of the circumstances. And God, we ask you to let us be fruitful.

Let us touch hearts, change minds, and let us save the unborn. All life matters. All life is precious. And we exist to serve you and to share that truth. And we ask for your blessing. In the name of your precious Son, Jesus Christ, amen. Amen. All right, so in the studio tonight, we have with us Pastor and Cheryl Hadley. Pastor and Cheryl are very dear friends of ours, and a pastor married Vicky and myself on the beach in New Smyrna three years ago. And for being a pastor all the years he’s been, that was the first time he’s been barefoot on the beach. Exactly. Doing some wedding vows. And anyone who’s been in my office or Vicky’s office at our work or has seen our phones, there’s a picture on our phone of us kissing on the beach.

And they said, ‘Oh, who was the photographer?’ It was actually Pastor Hadley took that with his iPhone, his new iPhone he’d gotten that day. I’d never taken a picture with. That was an accident. And it turned out good. It turned out great. And it’s so funny because our daughter, who is a photographer, had her gear there and took all these pictures. She was laying down in the waves. Laying down in the sand and the waves and everything. And she looks at our phone, she goes, ‘That’s the picture you guys chose?’ I didn’t take that picture. And it’s like, ‘Yeah, we know.’ Pastor just happened to take that picture, and my dress is picked up in the way. The wind is blowing just perfect. And it was not a staged picture.

We looked very thin in that picture. Yeah, well, we were very thin. We hadn’t gotten married. I mean, we’d just gotten married. So you get married and you start putting on those wedding pounds. Now the Bible says that’s good. Remember that one quote? Or a verse that Joe was telling us about? Hmm-mmm. It’s good. It’s good. Yes. It means you’re fat and happy. Sassy. Fat and sassy. Yeah, there you go. There you go. And we have another guest in the studio with us who’s part of our pro-life team and has shared her story on this show before also. Kathy McGinnis, retired Army captain, nurse, mom, wife. And dear friend, and welcome to the show, Kathy. Thank you. And thanks for being with us this weekend, too. She was out sign-waving.

And, you know, when we’re out sign-waving at the abortuary, it’s hit or miss what you get. But we got a lot of support. A lot of people waving and beeping their horns. You know, thumbs down and some very not very nice words to you. Some people waving with not using all their fingers. But you know what? But for the most part, it was very positive. And for those, anyone out there that knows somebody who likes to drive by and yell obscenities at folks that are out there, that just fuels us. Bring it on. Just bring it on. That feels… Where there’s anger, there’s hurt, and there’s a reason. That’s what’s usually behind that anger. And we’re in service, and so we’re there. We’ll take that, whatever your comment is, we’ll take it and just roll with it.

All right, so this past week, liveaction. org is the website. They had some information on their website. And all of us have addressed this. We had politicians on just a few weeks ago. Ryan Elijah, who says he’s running for Congress for the Congressional 7th District. He’s running against the sitting Congressman Corey Mills. And we had him on a week later on Fourth of July weekend. We asked both of them the same question. Are you pro-life? Because that is what matters right now. We have to get this blight of shedding innocent blood off of our land. And God is not going to bless us until we do. Amen. And we asked that question of both of them at two separate times. And Ryan Elijah said, ‘Yes, I’m pro-life.’ And then, Vicky, you pressed him on that.

I did. I said, ‘So how pro-life are you?’ And his first comment was, ‘Well, if, you know, if that mother’s life is in danger.’ I said, ‘You know, I would rather that we give it up to God, who is all powerful, all knowing, and let him take care of it.’ But I’ll give you that one. Okay. Are you for any other exceptions? And what did he say? The exceptions were in the case of rape or incest. And his wording was, ‘I would not want that young girl to have to suffer with the pregnancy of that monster.’ And he also said something else. He says in situations like that where God makes a mistake. And I stopped him. Yeah, Bruce said. And I said, ‘Whoa, whoa, whoa.’ God doesn’t make mistakes.

The birth of someone is not a mistake. That’s right. God can see things that we can’t see. God knows what our destiny is before we’re ever thought of. He knows us. And after that, then Bruce brought up— one of our guests in the studio today. Story. Yeah. Cheryl Hadley. And so Cheryl, can you tell us just a little bit of what you think we’re at that point with this in the story? Well, the thing is, I was adopted when I was six days old. Mm-hmm. From a home for unwed mothers. I knew that. I grew up with that. I was satisfied, okay. I was adopted. And I remember you saying before that people would say they were jealous of you because you were chosen. I was chosen.

Because you would tell them, ‘I was chosen.’ Actually, my girlfriend said that. I didn’t say it. Oh, that’s right. But two years ago. Um, I put my DNA on ancestry. Just to see, you know. And I came up with a very close blood relative. So I didn’t do anything with it. But finally, she called me. She was my blood niece. And she had all these questions. And I really didn’t know, but I had another cousin that was on there. And he contacted me and he said, ‘I think I know. Where you came from.’ Yes, that I can find your birth mother. And so I’ve had no need for that because my adoption was so absolutely blessed. Perfect. Blessed, yes. Because the parents I had…

I mean, there was no difference in me and any other child in a family. And so I appreciated their love, their raising of me. Mm-hmm. All of that. But anyway, this cousin. Finally called me one day and he said, ‘I found your birth mother.’ And he said, ‘Do you want to call her?’ I’ll give you her phone number. Mm-hmm. I didn’t want to call her. I thought, no, because if I call her, maybe that’s going to step into her life, something that she doesn’t want to know. Eventually, I got with her on the phone. And she told me. She said, ‘I’ve not told another living soul in my entire life.’ But she said, ‘but you deserve to know.’ I will tell you.

So she told me at that point. ‘When she was 13, mm-hmm.’ She was raped by her favorite uncle. Who was at that time 43 years old. So… I mean, did it shock me? I. Being adopted and growing up, and when I would hear people say in my older age, ‘Oh, that poor girl has been raped. She’s been molested. She needs to just abort that baby.’ You know, it wasn’t my fault. ‘That I was in that gal’s womb.’ It’s not the baby’s fault. That’s where they are at that time. And it used to make me very angry, but I didn’t know the fact at that point. That I was a product of that. Mm-hmm. Hmm. And did it affect my life? Not really. I grew up.

Having the things I wanted to do, being active in things that I wanted to be in, school and in church, marrying a pastor and doing what? Trying to help him in his ministry with people, just helping people. And so my feelings in my heart are very, very strong against. Getting rid of a child over incest or rape. Because I was a product of both. Mm-hmm. And the girl, and she said, ‘Don’t say anything to my family because they do not know it.’ Mm-hmm. Um, We’re going to have to take a break, Cheryl. Okay. Okay? We’ll be right back. I want to know how many, if you can think about it during this break, how many lives you feel you’ve influenced during your time as a pastor’s wife?

We’ll be back in just a bit. Pro-Life Radio on a Sunday night. You’re listening to us on AM 950, FM 94. 9, The Answer. If you’re pro-life, like this show, and want to support this mission, please help with your donation today. Go online to givesendgo. com. or make your checkout to Mission Save America, Inc. and mail it to 13900 Road 455, Unit 107-334, Claremont, Florida 34711. Pro-Life Radio is a non-profit entity and all donations are tax-deductible. Thank you. And welcome back to Pro-Life Radio on a Sunday evening. I’m Vicky Cherry. Across from me is my handsome husband, Bruce. Hello. Now, are you storing up parts? At points, you are, aren’t you? You’ve been storing up points for like three years on this show. You better be ready when I ask for that.

Ask. Okay, all right. In the studio with us, we have Raymond and Cheryl Hadley. They are our dear friends and pastors that married us. Raymond did. And Cheryl has an incredible story she’s been telling our listeners. And just to give our listeners a little context, because I ran across this article this week, liveaction. org. Their news, they’re calling on the mat a lot of people that say, ‘Oh, you know, I’m pro-life except in the case of rape or incest.’ And Cheryl has shared she was the product of both, of rape and incest, and her mother put her up for adoption. And we heard, you know, we were talking about Ryan Elijah, who said he’s pro-life, and that was his exception.

Now, I think, you know, we did explain to him the story, and I think it did touch him about Cheryl and raping insects. Insects, yeah. The baby has nothing to do with who their dad is or their mom is. And the flip side of that is, the next week we had Corey Mills on, and we put the exact same question to our sitting congressman, and he said, said unequivocally he’s pro-life. And he is not for exceptions. Not for exceptions. And he said, ‘God does not make mistakes.’ Now, nobody’s perfect, and we know that there has been a lot about Corey Mills on media, but you really need to do some research on really when people say they’re pro-life. Well, just how pro-life are you?

And before we get back to Cheryl and her story and how many people her life, if she wouldn’t have been here, would not have had her in it. I mean, how many lives have been affected positively from Cheryl? Being a pastor’s wife for 60 years. And then we also have Kathy McGinnis in with us, and she has an incredible abortion story, a pro-choice story that she had gone down, and she has a… She’s been on the show before and has a testimony that is, it made me cry. Да. So, um, But let’s find out, Cheryl, how many lives do you think have been impacted by you and your pastor’s marriage and life? You know, I… I can’t really give a number to that because there are so many times.

That. as I give my story now. There will be folks that will come up to me, ladies mostly. And they’re amazed that I’m able to say that or to tell the story. And several of them. I can’t give a number. I recall a night when we had all been together in Lake County, and you spoke before the Lake County meeting of the Republican Party in Lake County. And afterwards, you guys stopped for dinner, and some of the folks that were there, young girls, I believe it were. No, older women. Older women that had like… a child they were going to abort and didn’t. And they were eating and they stopped us and they were so excited. That I had given the story that I had.

And pointing out the fact that it’s not the baby’s fault. And I tell you, folks, there is always… God has places for these babies. And again, me not knowing who my birth mother was until I was, I mean, two years ago. 77 years old. And your birth mother at the time was 90, when you met, when you talked with her? Yes, she was 92. 92. At that time. And she has passed away. But, you know, she said to me, she said, ‘You know, I have prayed for you every day of my life.’ And she said, ‘I’ve not done that with my own children.’ And she said, ‘One thing she said, I am so tickled to know that you’re a pastor’s wife, that you’ve been so active with the Lord.

This lady had become a Christian.’ And she said, ‘I’m just thrilled with what God has worked out for you. And so, I mean, people that say. Yeah.’ An aborted child is better than… an adopted child or whatever. No, that is not true. Listeners, you need to think about what she’s saying. You know, if you are one of those that say you’re pro-life, but believe in an exception for rape or incest, you are listening to a woman. That that was her birth father that raped her mother. And if you would think about when you tell people, except for those exceptions, she wouldn’t be alive. It is. So important that you people, as you go to vote, as you go to live life, that you think about what you’re saying when you say that.

You’re saying it’s okay to kill Cheryl Hadley. Because her dad was a monster. And, you know, the other side, you think about that. He got away with this. And how many other people did he do this to? Because no one wanted to talk about it. Nobody wanted to. The police officers at the time. They tried to get my birth mother to have an abortion. They said, ‘We can take you now, this was in 1946.’ And they said, ‘We can take you somewhere where you’ll be able to have this abortion.’ She didn’t even know what an abortion was. And at the time, wasn’t abortion illegal? Yes. Yes, it was. Yeah. And she kept asking, ‘So what is that?’ What is that?

And finally, when they explained what abortion was, she said, ‘I can’t keep this child, but nobody is going to kill this baby.’ 13 people at 13. So you can stand up. You can make a difference. But they tried really hard to find out who the father was. And she told me. When we met, you know, when we met by phone, and she told me she said, ‘I couldn’t do it. I never ever told who your father was because I I couldn’t make myself reveal who he was.’ And at that time, he may have been arrested. I don’t know what would have happened to him. He probably had scared her into, like a lot of abusers will do, you know, if you tell anybody I’ll hurt you, I’ll hurt your…

brothers and sister you know that sort of thing right and and that’s probably the other side oh i just love you so much yeah Yes, it’s very possible that she didn’t understand. what was going on with her. Now, I want to turn to Pastor Hadley, your husband. Pastor. You guys have kind of hit the trail and now are sharing the story with churches and helping with healing and ministry. Tell us a little bit about that. Well, I’m sitting here anxious to say something because just the other night, Cheryl and I were in bed. We do this occasionally. Lights are out. We should be going to sleep, but we’re talking. And I said, you know, it’s such a blessing. To know that God has worked out in our life this event.

And we didn’t know that when we were going together. We didn’t know that when we were engaged. We didn’t know her background, except that she was adopted, and that didn’t bother me. I got to thinking, you know, there are young girls out there like Betty was, and she was very adamant, no, you’re not going to kill my baby. Right. Mm-hmm. And so many times the answer to abortion in that situation is, well, you don’t want to live with this the rest of your life. I say no. Huh. If you kill this baby, you will live with that for the rest of your life. Oh, yeah. More so than if you gave it up for adoption. And that can be proven many, many times. So anyway.

Yeah, and at some point we’re going to get to some information here that I have from women who were raped and… We’re coerced into having an abortion, and this is from live action that I found this week, so we’ll share that in just a bit. But I don’t want to interrupt you, so go ahead and continue. Okay, just very quickly, right now. In the end of our life, sometime when the Lord chooses to take us away. Hey, you could be here for another hundred. I mean, maybe not a hundred. Hey, wait a minute. I meant over a hundred. You might be over a hundred. Well, that could be, but nonetheless, we are visiting churches on Sunday mornings because I’m still pastor of Hope Baptist Church.

And we have a Bible study on Sunday nights and Wednesday nights at Hope Baptist. But on Sunday mornings, we’re visiting churches and talking to pastors, and just a brief introduction, tell them what we’re doing, and we’d love to come to their church, and Cheryl will give her testimony and so forth. What kind of reception are you getting from the churches? We haven’t had a meeting yet, as a result of this, but we’ve had very good reception and said, ‘Well, yes, we’ll.’ We’ll try to work you in and have a ladies’ meeting or even a church meeting. So anyway, that’s— Well, hold them to that. Make sure— that they do, because some of the pastors, it’s sad, but today there’s a lot of pastors that, ooh, that’s a touchy subject.

We don’t want to touch on that. We don’t want to talk about that. It’s something that needs to be addressed, and it’s not something that needs to be hidden. That’s the problem. That’s why abortion exists anyway, because it’s to hide truth. Well, especially rape and incest. And incest. You know, these people are getting away with it. There’s no DNA proof or anything. That’s right. Pastor, how are you getting a hold of people? How do people get a hold of you if they tell you to come talk? Well, okay. You could go to the website, to your website, Pro-Life website, and the information is there. You can notify by email. On Pro-Life website. Pro-LifeRadio. com. And also the phone number we can be reached. If you’ll call that number, they can get in touch with us.

We don’t have this really organized completely yet as far as what we want to do. There’s a number of things which I don’t have time to list today, but anyway. It’s a fledgling ministry, and I know many people can identify with that. Again, you can contact Pastor and Cheryl through pro-liferadio. com, our website. They’re on our pro-life team. Yes, they are. Amen. And it’s time for another break, and we’ll be right back, and we’ll spend some time with Kathy McGinnis, former captain, retired captain of the United States Army, and a mom, a wife, and a pro-life warrior. And we’ll be right back with her in just a bit. It’s Pro-Life Radio on a Sunday night. If you like this ministry and you want to help us keep it on the air, we have details coming on how you can do just that.

We’ll be right back. AM 950, FM 94. 9. The answer. If you’re pro-life, like this show, and want to support this mission, please help with your donation today. Go online to give, send, go. dot com slash Orlando Pro-Life Radio or make your check out to Mission Save America Inc. and mail it to 1390 County Road 455 Unit 107-334 Claremont, Florida 34711 Pro-Life Radio is a non-profit entity and all donations are tax-deductible. Thank you. And welcome back to Pro-Life Radio. It is Sunday night, and we thank you for joining us. And we thank our guests. We have Pastor and Cheryl Hadley, Pro-Life, on our team, and just really great friends. And we have retired Army Captain Kathy McGinnis, great friend of ours, church member, and member of our pro-life team.

We were out this weekend waving signs and praying for people and talking with people at the abortuary in Altamonts on Maitland Avenue. And Kathy is just fearless. You are. You are fearless. So thank you for that. Just so we don’t forget, if anybody wants to come and help out, they can. We’re going to start doing this the first Saturday of every month. We’re going to be down on the Maitland Avenue abortuary. Right next to the Pregnancy Center, which is awesome. The Pregnancy Center, let’s give them a shout out. Life Choices Pregnancy Center. Anybody listening to this show, if you find yourself— or someone you love— that is pregnant and they’re wondering what to do, Life Choices is where they need to go.

Life Choices will show them they have options, they have alternatives, they don’t need to abort their child. There’s so much help out there now. I mean, Let Them Live, that was on a few weeks ago, they have helped people get new jobs. They’ve helped people. get pay for their apartments, I mean, if you truly don’t see a way out. and you are thinking of having an abortion, there’s so much help out there. Yeah. And we talked to a couple of people like that this weekend that they just didn’t know there was a service there to help them. So there is help. There is help. I just want to touch on this. Real quick before we get to Kathy. This week, liveaction.

org, the website, they took a stance on the people talking about their pro-life except in the case of rape or incest. This lady, Kathleen DeZue, the mother of a child conceived in rape, spoke out against pro-choicers who were making the argument that abortion must be legal in cases of rape. She says, ‘I, having lived through rape and also having a child conceived in rape, feel personally assaulted and insulted every time I hear the abortion, hear that abortion should be legal because of rape and incest. I feel that we’re being used to further an abortion issue even though we’ve not been asked to tell our side of the story. That’s very telling. Yeah, you never see anybody saying, ‘you know, that, hey, I was raped, and so therefore I want to do this.’ You just don’t see that the pro-choicers never put that face on.

She further said… A woman is most vulnerable at a time such as this and doesn’t need to be pounced on by yet another act of violence. She needs someone to truly listen to her, care for her, and give her time to heal. Thank you. Amen. Amen. Absolutely.’ So, Kathy, you’ve shared your story with us before. You are a nurse by trade. Right. And while you were in nursing school, you discovered something. Well, I was… Yes, I discovered. In my anatomy and physiology class, that a baby at 11 weeks is fully formed. Just very small. And that’s when I had my abortion. A few months before I started nursing school, and it kind of hit me like, ‘Oh boy.’ This was not what I should have done.

Well, weren’t you led to believe by your mom, who also was a nurse? Oh, yeah. That it was just a big blob of tissue. Yep. Just a marble. And, you know, we’re Catholic. Strong Catholics. And, but I, I just have to commend. Cheryl’s mother. I’m so inspired. To know how strong she was and committed and knew at such a young age— at 13. That there’s no way I’m going to kill my baby or abort it. She didn’t even know what abortion meant. Hmm-hmm. And, uh, I didn’t know there was a choice. I mean, not legally, but apparently in the state of Maryland, they had— recently passed. The law. That there was. They’ve allowed for therapeutic abortions, like you really had to be crazy or something.

And I wasn’t crazy, but somehow they worked it out with the two psychiatrists that I was just so… Distraught. You know, with the idea that I would not be able to go to nursing school, which was my dream, you know. And I was beside myself, and I was unfortunately not very strong. You know, I didn’t really have my… own ways— i mean, I was rebellious in a certain respect, but when it came to morals, uh And all it took was my mother, really, and my dad, but mostly, that this, you know, you just can’t do this. You just can’t have this. It’s just so shameful. Now, you went through a long period of time where you were very angry at your mom after you discovered that the baby was born.

Yeah, but it took a few, it wasn’t until I realized that the the that my um at 11 weeks that the baby was well formed and I realized there really was a life there. Mm-hmm. I didn’t express any anger until… two years later, two and a half, actually, almost three years later, when I had five weeks left before graduation from nursing school. Mm-hmm. And I was… Having a breakdown. You know, I just was… uh, I didn’t understand why. My parents or my mother. Mostly had the strongest influence on me was just over a boyfriend. And I just wasn’t handling any conflict. And I didn’t know why I was wasn’t able to really concentrate on nursing school. So make. Long story short.

I had to take a leave of absence, and I did go back the following. Six months later, graduated, but… when I realized that that I was suffering from so much grief. And I really… took responsibility for this and cried and cried and I remember even going for counseling before I actually took a leave of absence. The counselors. Poo-pooed the idea that it’s because I had an abortion. That’s not what’s causing your… depression and your anxiety and whatever it was. Was the counselor male or female? Female. There is such a concerted effort. When people do, because we’ve heard that before, men and women. That have had abortion in their lives go into a counselor and they say, ‘Oh, please, it can’t be that.’ Right. It is that.

It is a life that God created that you were put to be responsible for and protect. And that’s what goes against it. And to be grieving that. And that’s why there’s so many great counseling after abortion now, too. And thank God you’ve… You’ve done that. You’ve asked for forgiveness. You’ve repented of that. There is just this effort by the enemy to infiltrate this area and say, ‘Oh, no, it’s no big deal.’ And my mother, too. What are you talking about? That’s ridiculous. I mean, no matter what anybody said, I knew. I was wrong, and I didn’t… You know, I… did not accept any sympathy from anybody. I mean, it wasn’t like I, you know, I mean, there was thought of suicide. I mean, it’s just there because…

I felt so empty inside and so oppressed and just bottoming out. I mean, I couldn’t even take a blood pressure. It was crazy. So I knew this was so much more than… It was only when I came to grips with the reality of what had happened, and I was sorry, and I was just begging forgiveness from God, that I was able to get over this. I was able to. Come back to life because I felt like I was dying and I realized too that this—I wasn’t alone that there were, even as early as 1973, that there were other women, young women, that were experiencing what I did. This grief. And it’s not the solution. Abortion is not the solution.

And today, I’m standing out front of this abortion mill and reading the signs and, like, oh, wow, 11 weeks. That was my baby. You just never get over it. It was the baby in pieces from the procedure. And it really bothered me. It just never leaves you, but I can still function. That’s the important thing. That’s the gift of forgiveness. Even though God has forgiven us of that, because I’ve been through the same thing. You’re right. It never leaves you. It never leaves you. You still… You still feel it. Oh, yeah. It’s a big deal. You know, I remember the argument. It’s like… It’s a hard choice. And it’s like, okay, so… If it is not a baby, why is it a hard choice? If you needed…

If somebody came to you and said, ‘Hey, you need a surgery, your liver’s failing, whatever it is,’ and is that a hard decision? No, you know, okay, I need to go get this done. But it’s different. And why is it different? It’s different because we all know. That is a child created by God. That’s why it’s a hard decision. And it’s amazing. I’m just so grateful for the support and help out there. I thought today I said, ‘Oh, I was heading to that abortion clinic.’ At the time that I was going through what I was, they didn’t even have abortion clinics, but everything was still in the hospital. Uh… And there were signs out. I mean. It wouldn’t have taken much at all, and I would have changed my mind.

I know that. I didn’t. And I could beat myself up for it. I’ve heard that before. Where was the people out front when I went for my abortion? Yeah. I don’t think I would have done it if there would have been people out there. You know, it is a big deal. It’s your child. We were all asleep. Yep. All of us. We were all asleep. It’s time for us to take another break. Coming back, there’s a startling statistic. Pro-choicers would have you believe that all women who are raped or victims of incest want an abortion. That’s not the case. We’ll give you the stats when we come back. Pro-Life Radio on a Sunday night streaming on TheAnswerOrlando. com. You can pick us up terrestrially on AMC. AM 950. I know, big word, right? Yeah. AM 950, FM 94. 9. The answer will be right back. Support this mission, please help with your donation today. And welcome back to Pro-Life Radio on a Sunday evening. I’m Vicky Cherry. Across from me is my handsome husband, Bruce. Hello! Oh, that was a cute one. We have Raymond and Cheryl Hadley in. They are good, good friends, are on our pro-life team. Pastor’s the one that married us at the beach. Beautiful picture he took of us with his new phone. We have Kathy McGinnis, retired captain, and also a… survivor of an abortion. And a nurse. That’s what I’m saying. She had an abortion that her mom, you know, and so many times down at the abortion clinic, we seen. Who we believe would have been a grandpa, a dad, and his daughter. Bringing his daughter down. And sadly, I think we got to him late because, sadly, come to find out, it was not their first visit.

It was the second visit, or second or third visit. And so that kind of, ooh, so, yeah. So anyway, you know, there’s lots we can do. There’s lots needed to be done. And please, if you’re listening and you want to help in this fight. It is a fight. The enemy wants these babies to die. It’s just like the blood of Jesus, the sacrificial. There’s actually devil-worshiping, Satanistic abortion clinics, and they are not hiding anymore. No, no. Chris has a stat. One of the stats. This was a survey that was conducted a while back. Statistics about rape victims and abortion are surprising. There have been two studies done about pregnant rape victims, and each study, 70% of the women chose to keep their babies. 70%.

Now, this defies the stereotype that all rape victims and victims of incest want abortions, okay? Of the 30% who did not keep their babies and had abortions, 78% of the 30% group said they knew immediately they had done something wrong and they regretted it. Ciao. Pastor? Yes. I am here. I just… It just, it blows my mind that… We’re in this fight. It does and it’s just especially difficult for my wife and I when we realize What a wonderful life that Cheryl has had. And when we met as teenagers, we didn’t know really that much about it. She knew she was adopted, and I didn’t know much about adoption. It didn’t matter to me. We just knew that the Lord wanted us together.

And then seven years after our marriage, couldn’t have children the natural way, so let’s adopt a child. And we did. So our son, an only child that we have, is now 53, and it’s just been a blessing that he has been with us and still loves us. Still love him, and we just are very thankful for that. So our purpose now, though we’re slowing down in our… our years, but we still would like to get the message out, especially this important one that means life to so many people. And that’s what we want to do. So what we’re doing is talking to pastors and we are asking: if there’s an opportunity for us to come. For my wife to give her testimony of what this means to her, and especially since she found her birth mother a couple of years ago.

And they had wonderful conversations on the phone once they found each other. And it’s just a blessing. So if you’re in this position, if you’re in a situation where you need to make a decision. Contact us. Go to the website, the Pro-Life Radio. Pro-LifeRadio. com. and let them know that you want to get in contact with us. We’re starting this ministry. It’s not really well organized at this point, but we can get to you, and we trust that you’ll let us know so we can help you. Mm-hmm. Miss Cheryl, take it from there. Okay. I was thinking about folks that I have talked to about my birth story. And when we went to vote, when the abortion issue was up for voting. He was standing in line and over at the side.

There were young ladies with… signs out. Mm-hmm. To be sure and vote for this abortion, uh, issue that was the uh, amendment four, issue, yes, and um. So I walked over to them. And I thought, please, Lord, just give me the strength not to be hateful or bitter or anything else, but just to see if they understand. And I’ve come to realize that there are so many young women. that they don’t really understand what abortion is. They just think it’s an answer to a problem maybe that they have. But I told these girls. my story. Mm-hmm. And one of them looked at me, and she had tears coming down her cheeks, and she was saying, ‘I never thought about an adult person before.’ She said, ‘Look at you.

I mean, you’re pretty and you’re nice. And she said, ‘I can’t believe.’ That somebody would have taken your life away. And I thought. See, Lord, these young girls, they don’t even know what they’re dealing with. And so for me, it’s been the prayer of my heart just to be able to. Have folks understand fully. what abortion is, and that it is taking that precious life. It’s still god-given, whether it was out of rape, incest, a love affair, or whatever God made that life. And so… That’s basically my prayer, is that it will just touch hearts and reach people. Kathy. Yeah, it’s, um… Hmm. You know, When someone has an abortion, Mm-hmm. or they’re thinking about having an abortion. Uh… This decision that they need to make.

Really requires support an understanding of what an abortion is. But these days, I think there’s, you know, we’re more educated on it. But just the same. As we come together with our support. We can. We can make the decision. And it’s so deep. The life inside us and I know God is speaking to us and in ways that we don’t quite understand. It has to be. Where God is speaking to us for it to be affecting us in a way like it did me. I know it was delayed, but it’s still that important a life is that important. So I just want to warn everyone out there that’s looking to make a decision on abortion, that it’s not the solution. Your life is actually more at risk emotionally, and you never really get over it.

You know, there’s so many choices now. You know, put your child up for adoption, which is hard to do. I don’t think I could have done it. Still, you have that choice. And you have all kinds of resources to take care of that baby. So we’re in a better place that way. You know, something I’d like to touch on, you know, for years, abortion existed because one of the reasons, or at least one of the excuses that was given, was, families were enticing their teenage daughters to go get an abortion because their teenage daughter was pregnant and they didn’t want the neighbors or folks in church to find out. Okay, we have… Now nobody… I mean, I don’t want to say nobody cares, but now we’ve advanced as a people so much, and advancing is maybe not the right idea.

Yeah, I don’t think it is. We’ve become a society that really knows very little shame. And so I think it’s more important that we protect that life than it is that we look at our own reputation or the reputation of our family. The reputation of our ministry, things like that. I’ve known ministers that had their daughters get abortions because we don’t want it to get out that our daughter was loose— we’re supposed to have our house in order. God already knows. Yeah, God knows. You’re not hiding anything. Yeah, the one who you really need to impress— is the one who already knows. Lord God Almighty. So, you know, so don’t and another thing, they talk about women who have been raped feeling shame. That is something that the devil has put into them.

There’s no shame in that. There is no shame that you’re a victim. You were attacked. You’re a victim. The shame should be on the person who attacked you, not on you. That’s right. And you now have the the blessing of a child. Because God… All children are blessings from God. And there’s so many stories of women that were raped, that that baby saved their life because they had somebody to love, to take care of. That baby loved them back. Occasionally, I think there are tough ones. So that could be put up for adoption. There’s lots of other choices besides abortion. And there’s a lot of help for them as well. You know, we had a couple weeks ago, we had the lady from Let Them Live, and they have helped people get jobs.

They’ve paid for their apartments. They’ve paid for all their baby medical bills. I mean, there is so much help now. There is no… reason. There’s no excuse. Amen. There’s no excuse. Amen. That music is the sign that we have come to the end of the show. I can’t believe we got through the show so quickly like that. It’s like, oh, my goodness. So, of course. We know that as long as God is willing, you guys will be back to be with us, correct? And thank you for letting us be here. We appreciate that very much. Thank you for being here. Hadley.
